Expansion

Due to the rains, the water level of the rivers is still rising. After breaking the record of 12 years, the water level at Kachla Bridge in Budaun has further increased and the flood level is high here. The situation will remain the same in the future as well. The water level of other rivers including Saryu is also becoming increasingly dangerous. The rain-fed rivers are causing the most damage, due to which the situation has worsened in many districts.

Both the rivers Ganga and Yamuna are wreaking havoc at this time. However, in most of the districts, Ganga and Yamuna have now been taken out of the red zone. The condition of Yamuna in Agra and Mathura is still critical. Same is the condition of Saryu in Barabanki. Sarayu in Ayodhya and Ramganga in Shahjahanpur are creating a serious situation. The water level of Gandak river has increased in Kushinagar. The water level of Ganga is continuously rising in Farrukhabad and Hapur, which has become a matter of concern. Where there is a possibility of increasing the water level of many rivers in the next two days, there is a possibility of flood in many different areas. Hindon may deteriorate in villages and urban areas situated on the banks of the Ganga-Yamuna rivers. Concerned districts have been alerted, warning of the danger of flood.

Rainy rivers overflowed due to occupation

At this time the rainy rivers have worsened the situation the most. Actually these rivers are being encroached upon. When the rivers dry up in most of the places, farming starts in them. When it rains and there is more water in the rivers, then its flow again runs here and there. This is the reason why Malan, Kho etc rivers have created trouble in Bijnor. The water level of Krishna river is rising in Baghpat. This is happening in many districts.
